I am so proud to be the principal of Jefferson Elementary School. This is my 25th year serving Guilford County Schools and my 9th year at Jefferson Elementary. I am so thankful to be a part of a wonderful group of staff, parents, community partners and students that make Jefferson a magical place to grow, learn and lead.
Everything we do at Jefferson, we ground in the Jefferson WAYS. W-Words Matter; A-Actions Matter; Y-You Matter; S-Safety Matters. We have high expectations for ourselves and our students. Our students are made for excellence and they deserve greatness.
Our team has a driven passion to support the learning and growth of each and every child in the Eagle's Nest. As we learn, teach and grow together, we always choose KINDNESS.
Jefferson Elementary has two Pre-K Classrooms, two Adaptive Curriculum Classrooms, one Regional Behavior Support Classroom, and 30 General Education Classrooms. Our 723 students speak more than 18 different languages, come from more than 50 different countries, and have a variety of social, emotional and academic gifts that make our Eagle’s Nest a magical place to learn.
