At Jefferson Elementary, our vision is clear: to ensure that 100% of our students read on or above grade level.  

We believe that when we come together as a dedicated community of learners, builders, and leaders, we can achieve extraordinary things. 

I am the very proud principal of Jefferson Elementary School. This is my 26th year serving Guilford County Schools and my 11th year at Jefferson. I am grateful to be part of a passionate team — our staff, parents, community partners, and most importantly, our students — all working collaboratively to make Jefferson a magical place where growth, learning, and leadership thrive. 

Everything we do at Jefferson is rooted in the Jefferson WAYS:

We hold ourselves and our students to high standards because we believe every child is made for excellence and deserves greatness. 

Together, as builders of our school’s future, we foster a culture of support, kindness, and continuous growth. Our team is committed to nurturing the learning and development of each child in the Eagle’s Nest. As we learn, teach, and grow together, kindness remains at the heart of everything we do. 

Jefferson Elementary is proud to serve a diverse community with two Pre-K classrooms, two Adaptive Curriculum classrooms, one Regional Behavior Support classroom, and 33 General Curriculum classrooms. Our 723 students represent more than 39 different countries and speak 21 different languages. The cultural, social, emotional, and academic gifts of our students make our Eagle’s Nest a vibrant and magical place to learn and thrive.
