Our school community is focused on creating a shared commitment to how we learn, lead, and care for one another. With families and students representing many countries, cultures, and languages, we celebrate what makes each person unique while believing we all matter and we are better together.

Student Supports 

We have two full-time counselors and a social worker that support our Student Instructional Support Program. Our counselors focus on challenges that students face at school that interfere with their access to academics; while our social worker focuses on family and home situations that may impede students' learning.

Clubs and Activities

We have quarterly awards programs which celebrate our students' academic and citizenship efforts. Our students have opportunities to participate in Battle of the Books. We have strong team of specialists that focus on integrating literacy into each of their lessons.

We have Battle of the Books; Go Far Running Club; Choir; Drum Circle; Drum line; and Buildership opportunities for our students.

School Discovery Month

All GCS families and future families are invited to explore our amazing schools during School Discovery Month.  Visit, ask questions, meet our staff, and see all the opportunities GCS has to offer in your attendance zone, as well as our Choice schools and programs.
